    I began composing this piece while teaching at the Domain Forget summer music program a couple of summers ago. The title DF-2 means "Don't Forget Domain Forget", and commemorates the wonderful time I had teaching the students there and performing with the Sixtrum percussion group.

    It was premiered by Ken Neth on his senior recital at Ithaca College. This piece has a kind of earthy, folk-like quality to it, but with the rhythmic and harmonic vocabulary typical of my music.
